But after the beggining, I actually enjoyed the fact that they didn't assume anyhting, and instead gave us a look into what a lot of people seem to talk about in regards to alien life-forms. The illustrations are very good from all the artists , and Pat's commentaries are a major plus. My only problem with this sample was the information on the races themselves.

I'm not sure if it was because this was a sample or if the whole book is like that, but while we had a lot of text on what the artist wanted to convey in the images, we get so little in terms of factual be it fiction or not information about the species, that I felt a bit disappointed in that matter. Aside from that, I'm guessing anyone curious about alien species will want to take a look at this.
